The 2021 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport are here with new engine options and special editions as well.

Let’s start off with the 2021 Range Rover. It will be available with a choice of two engines now. First up is a 3.0-litre six-cylinder mild-hybrid, petrol engine making 400 bhp and 55.3 kg-m of torque. There is also the addition of a new 3.0-litre straight-six diesel engine, which is part of Land Rover’s Ingenium family of engines. It’s available in three states of tune internationally, but in India, we get the 300 bhp, 65.3 kg-m mild-hybrid version. It’s worth noting that this engine complies with RDE2 emissions norms, which are more stringent than the current BS6 norms.

The Range Rover is available in Vogue, Vogue SE and Autobiography trim levels in both short wheelbase and long wheelbase form. And in SV Autobiography trim on the LWB version. Land Rover is also offering the LWB Range Rover in three special editions. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Range Rover, Land Rover is building 1970 units of a special Land Rover Fifty edition of the Range Rover.

The Westminster Edition and Westminster Black Edition, both of which feature unique trim, large bespoke wheels (21-inchers on the Westminster Edition and 22-inchers on the Westminster Black Edition) and privacy screens for the rear passengers.

For 2021, the Range Rover Sport also gets new engine options too. It shares the new 300 bhp, 65.3 kg-m, 3.0-litre straight-six diesel powerplant with the Range Rover. In addition to that, the Range Rover Sport will also come with a pair of petrol engines in two. The base engine is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine making 300 bhp and 40.3 kg-m of torque. The Range Rover SVR gets a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine making 575 bhp and 71 kg-m of peak torque.
