Citroen has finally revealed the introductory pricing for the C3 in India. The crossover is available in six variants, starting at Rs 5.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With over 90 per cent localisation, this Made-In-India model is the first product from the C-Cubed family of vehicles, built at its manufacturing facility in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. New C3 deliveries to customers will start from today at all the La Maison Citroen phygital showrooms across the country. It will go up against the Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Tata Punch.

The car gets a dual-tone exterior and black plastic cladding all around to give it a more rugged look. It gets a split headlamp design, the signature dual-slat chrome grille, fog lights and silver skid plates. The C3 also comes equipped with diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The C3 will come equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a height-adjustable driver seat, remote keyless entry, four speakers, steering-mounted controls, and tilt-adjustable steering.

The Citroen C3 comes with two engine options, the first being a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 81 bhp and 11.7 kgm, paired with a 5-speed manual. The other option is a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol motor producing 108 bhp and 19.3 kgm, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

Based on the brand’s CMP modular platform, the car measures 3,981 mm in length, 1,733 mm in width, 1,586 mm in height and the wheelbase is 2,540 mm. It also has a ground clearance of 180 mm and comes with 315 litres of boot space.
