Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic BMW M GmbH, BMW India launched an exclusive ‘50 Jahre M Edition’ of the BMW M4 Competition Coupe. BMW India had announced that it will launch ten exclusive 50 Jahre M Editions to celebrate the M sub-brand. Only a limited number of these special editions will be available completely built-up units by BMW M GmBH for Rs 1.52 crore (ex-showroom).

The 50 Jahre M Edition comes with the automaker’s signature kidney grille with the iconic M emblem. The M emblem is visible at the front and rear, as well as on the wheel hubcaps. It gets boldly sculpted wheel arches with M gills and prominently extended side sills with attachment parts for the front and rear aprons. It also gets adaptive LED headlights with BMW Laserlight technology and M-specific exterior mirrors with aerodynamically optimized contouring. The car also sports aerodynamically optimized fins, a rear spoiler and two pairs of exhaust tailpipes finished in Black Chrome.

The car is powered by a 3.0-litre straight-six engine mated to an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission. The petrol engine churns out 503 bhp of peak power and a maximum torque of 66.28 kgm. The car is further capable of accelerating from zero to 100 kph in just 3.5 seconds.

The cabin of the car comes with distinctly structured surfaces and an ergonomically styled cockpit design. It features design lettering elements in the door sill panels, the centre console plaque and the headrest. It also gets M Seat belts, a multifunctional M steering wheel, seat heating with lumbar support, three-zone climate control and electrical seat adjustment with memory function.
