In both variants, a 6.5-inch full-colour TFT instrument cluster displays all of the information. You can play around with the multi-controller to access the various features its console has to offer. For instance, the console links to the rider’s smartphone and offers them access to phone and media services, such as making calls and listening to music. Of course, there are plenty of other optional accessories that BMW has to offer.

The same 853cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine powers both bikes, producing 93 bhp at 8250 rpm and 9.38 kgm at 6250 rpm. It also offers different riding modes like Pro (Dynamic and Enduro), basic riding modes (Rain and Road), along with Dynamic traction control, ABS Pro and automated stability control are all standard features on both models of the 850 GS. Furthermore, standard features include Gear Shift Assist Pro, heated grips and cruise control.
