The hunkier version of the Tata Tiago is here! Its price starts from Rs 6.57 lakh for the manual variant and Rs 7.09 lakh for the AMT variant (all prices ex-Delhi). Apart from its rugged looks, the Tiago NRG also gets a 181-mm ground clearance (11 mm higher than the standard Tiago) and a retuned suspension setup.

The Tiago NRG variant is essentially a crossover, which is being targeted towards the younger audience. Features a contrasting paint job for the roof, roof rails, body cladding, a skidplate, dual-tone alloy wheels, and even a new plastic cladding on the tailgate. Inside, it features a sporty black theme with all the latest updates seen on the facelifted Tiago. For instance, it gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a digital instrument cluster, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a rear parking camera.

Under the hood, the Tiago NRG remains unchanged. Powering it is the same 85-bhp 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, paired to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT ‘box. We are not sure whether the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine will make it on the Tiago yet. As for colours, you can spec the Tiago NRG in four colour options: Foresta Green, Snow White, Fire Red and Cloudy Grey. Would you prefer this over the standard Tiago or even consider buying the entry-level variant of the Nexon?
