With the recently launched Superb Sportline, Skoda addressed the needs of someone looking at a sporting premium executive saloon. Now with the introduction of the 2019 Skoda Superb Corporate Edition, the Czech manufacturer might just win all company-car contracts.

At Rs 23.99 lakh, ex-showroom, the Superb Corporate Edition makes a strong VFM proposition. A 1.8-litre turbo petrol engine powers the car. It makes 177 bhp and boasts a claimed fuel economy of 14.64 kpl. It comes mated to a manual gearbox, while an AT model is expected to be launched later this year. The MQB-based Superb is good to drive, and the rear-seat comfort is quite there with industry leaders as well.

The Superb Corporate Edition also has a few extras that might make its price tag a bit unbelievable. That includes the standard kit of eight airbags, a variety of driver aids, and three-zone climate control. Add to that a 20.32-cm touchscreen system, and even a humungous boot. The latter can hold 625 litres of luggage with the rear seats up, but fold those, and you effectively increase the space by almost 200 per cent, at 1760 litres.

There are two colours to choose from: Candy White and Magnetic Brown. Also included in the package is a 4-year warranty and 4-year road-side assistance. New customers can also opt for a 4-year service package that further helps them keep a check on the ownership costs.
