BMW’s offering the 3 Series Gran Turismo in a new Shadow Edition, which will be sold in limited numbers and will only be available in M Sport trim.

The Shadow Edition gets high-gloss black finish on the kidney grille and the 18-inch alloy wheels, while the tailpipes are finished in dark chrome. It is powered by a 248 bhp 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol engine which makes 35.69 kg-m of torque, paired to an 8-speed auto gearbox with steering-mounted paddle shifters. Unique to the 3 Series GT is the active rear spoiler which deploys at high speeds to optimise the airflow at the rear for better handling.

Inside, you get a black and beige upholstery with either black or red highlights and a lot of M Sport branding. In addition to that, you also get an 8.78-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity, wireless charging, an M Sports leather steering wheel and ambient lighting among other features. On the safety front, it has six airbags, ABS with brake assist, run-flat tyres, side-impact protection and other safety features similar to the 3 Series.

This Shadow Edition is priced at Rs 42.5 lakh, ex-showroom, India and can be had in Alpine White, Melbourne Red Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic or Estoril Blue Metallic.
