Porsche has started accepting bookings for the second-generation Panamera ahead of its arrival next year (second quarter of 2017). As of now, there are only two models available to order: the Turbo and the Turbo Executive.

Vastly improved and closer to the 911 than ever before, the new Panamera made its debut (in markets abroad) earlier this year. Initially available only as 4WD versions, the Panamera will have its range widened at the upcoming LA Auto Show. One of the new inclusions will be the aforementioned Turbo Executive model.

Said model boasts a wheelbase longer by 150 mm, is powered by a 550 hp turbocharged (sorry to break it to you like this, but everything is turbo-ed now) engine, has all-wheel drive and rear-wheel steering included in the standard spec. It will be positioned primarily as a chauffeur-driven Panamera, so options list now includes rear centre console with folding tables, and a separate, inductive antennae for smartphone, and Rear Seat Entertainment package with individual 10.1-inch screens at the rear.

The driver-orientated version, that is the Panamera Turbo, will also be available, albeit with standard wheelbase, a top-speed of 306 kph, and 0-100 kph time of just 3.8 seconds. The headline figures are courtesy of a biturbo V8 that makes 542 bhp and 78.51 kgm.

Ex-showroom prices are Rs 1.93 crore for the Panamera Turbo and Rs 2.05 crore for the Panamera Turbo Executive.
