The latest addition to MG Hector’s variant list is the Hector Shine. It offers features like a push start button, smart entry, electric parking brake, electric sunroof (not panoramic), among others. Previously, you had to pay Rs 2 lakh more if you wanted an auto gearbox option. Now, if you are willing to upgrade to an auto box, it will only take Rs 72,000 instead. Thanks to the inclusion of the CVT option in the Shine 1.5-litre petrol variant, the jump from Hector’s Super variant to the Shine automatic variant isn’t that long.

Mechanically, the Hector remains the same. It is still powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel mill. The diesel mill does not have an automatic gearbox yet.

Apart from the features mentioned earlier, MG is offering a set of accessories which include a steering cover, 3D mats, air purifier, wireless mobile charger, and many more things. It still gets the iSmart connected technology that comes with plenty of connected features. Also, you can use Hinglish voice commands.

Moreover, MG is giving 5 years of unlimited-kilometre warranty, 5 years of roadside assistance and five labour free services. The prices for the Hector Shine starts from Rs 14.52 lakh for the 1.5-litre petrol manual variant and go all the way up to Rs 16.50 lakh for the diesel variant. Mentioned below are the prices for all its variants.
