The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance, the most powerful AMG ever, has been launched for a jaw-dropping Rs 3.3 crore (ex-showroom, India). So, what do you receive for that money?

Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance

For starters, the GT 63 S E Performance gets a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine delivering 640 bhp. The E in the name refers to an electric motor positioned on the rear axle, which produces an additional 204 bhp. The combined performance comes at 840 bhp and 150 kgm of torque. Instead of the normal attempt to travel further on a single litre of petrol, AMG employs hybrid power to propel this big four-door coupe from 0-100 kph in 2.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 316 kph.

The rear-mounted electric motor is linked to a two-speed transmission, which transfers electric drive to all four wheels, thereby making this an AWD vehicle. It has a 12-km all-electric range and can hit a top speed of 130 kph in full electric mode.
