Following the Volkswagen Polo’s achievement (Best Residual Value in the premium hatchback segment; 2017), Indian Blue Books has now awarded Volkswagen India the title of ‘Most Improved Residual Value Brand 2019’.

VW models’ prices in the used car market showed an increase in residual value by 3 to 7 per cent, across the range. The data from last year was collected by IBB from over 8500 channels (retail and wholesale). The average prices of each model were then compared with the previous year’s prices.

Director for VW Passenger Cars, Steffen Knapp said, “We’re quite delighted to share that Volkswagen has received the title of the ‘Most Improved Residual Value Brand 2019’. This title reiterates our commitment to our Indian customers and truly reflects our dedication towards providing a value for- money proposition. We extend our gratitude towards the esteemed jurors who have recognized our efforts of making Volkswagen carlines affordable and accessible in the Indian market.”
