Hyundai India has reported an increase in despatches, both in domestic and exports, in the month of February 2018. The overall increase in sales is 5.1 per cent, while there’s a 4.9 per cent increase in exports.

In comparison to February 2017, when the Korean carmaker sold 42,327 vehicles and exported 10,407 units, the overall sales figure of 55,422 this February is an increase of 2688 units. The domestic sales are reported to be 44,505 while the exports are near similar to last year, at 10,917.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd’s Director – Sales and Marketing, Rakesh Srivastava said, “Hyundai grew by 5.1% with a volume of 44,505 units on strong performance of the newly launched modern premium brands New 2018 ELITE i20, Next Gen VERNA along with super performer Perfect SUV CRETA in a growing market on the strength of stable interest rates and fuel prices in a faster growing economy.”

The company also recently showcased the IONIQ EV and NEXO FECV SUV in the country. At the Geneva International Motor Show, Hyundai will showcase the new Kona Electric and the all-new Santa Fe SUV.
