Our beloved Ford’s hydraulic power assisted steering system might be suffering from faulty hose, the company’s announcement has revealed. It is voluntarily inspecting two products fitted with such system, the Fiesta Classic (erstwhile previous-generation Fiesta) and previous-generation Figo.
A total of 39,315 vehicles, manufactured at the Chennai-based facility between 2004 and 2012, are to be checked as a part of this voluntary recall. The company will replace the faulty part, through its dealers. Owners of the affected vehicles are requested to get in touch with the nearest Ford dealer as soon as possible.
