In the past few months, BMW has been really active in adding new variants to its existing range of cars. Previously, both the X3 petrol and diesel were only available in Luxury Line trim. Now, with the launch of the X3 xDrive30i SportX variant, it has added one more trim for the X3 petrol.

Talking about the SportX variant, it gets black high gloss elements on the radiator grille bars, two-tone underbody protection, air-breather and 18-inch light-alloy wheels. Inside, the interior is finished in fine-wood trim with pearl chrome highlights on it, the controls also get chrome touches while the upholstery is finished in Sensatec trim. Features like a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting with welcome light carpet and a 3-zone auto climate control are also available. On the infotainment side, it gets BMW’s Live Cockpit Plus with touch functionality, a digital instrument cluster with analogue dials, Hi-Fi loudspeaker, Parking Assistant and finally Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

On the mechanical front, the BMW X3 xDrive30i SportX gets a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine producing 248 bhp and 35.69 kgm of torque, paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. That’s enough to take the X3 from 0 to 100 kph in 6.3 seconds.

The SportX trim is stacked below the Luxury Line trim and is priced at Rs 56.5 lakh, ex-showroom. But if you book the car online through BMW Online Shop before midnight on the 28th of February 2021, you will get early-bird benefits worth up to Rs 1.50 lakh. These benefits include BMW Service Inclusive Package and exclusively curated BMW Accessories Package. The BMW Service Inclusive covers all maintenance work, including any BMW original parts and oil requirements for 3 year or 40,000 km.
