TVS Motor Company is one two-wheeler manufacturer that is poised for innovation and is constantly upgrading its product portfolio with unique and segment-first features. The Hosur based two- and three-wheeler automotive brand has launched a new edition of its popular 125cc scooter, the Ntorq 125 Race XP. Where most other manufacturers resort to mainly cosmetic upgrades in the form of snazzy graphics and sporty liveries for race variants, the Ntorq 125 Race XP comes with all of that and two riding modes, Race and Street. This makes it the first scooter in the segment to do so. In Race mode, the scooter will be slightly faster in acceleration and will be able to achieve a rated top speed of 98 kph. Street mode, on the other hand, is designed for city commute and traffic conditions, offering better mileage and a smooth riding experience.

TVS has also equipped the Ntorq 125 Race XP with the updated Smartxonnect connectivity platform which now features a Voice Assist function. With this feature, the user will be able to change the riding mode, access navigation, adjust the console brightness, and switch to Do Not Disturb mode. Furthermore, the navigation system now comes with the option to save an address for future use.

Now, if you thought that was all, well then you’d be wrong. The company has also opted to use advanced engineering polymers, high strength steel and alloy steel which have contributed to make the scooter lighter. Improvements have also been made to the gas flow dynamics and combustion, resulting in enhanced power delivery.

Offered with a new race-inspired livery, a racing pedigree badge, graphics and red-coloured alloy wheels, the TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP is now up for grabs carrying a sticker price of Rs 83,275 ex-showroom, Delhi.
