More from Motoring

The Ducati Monster has been a successful model for the Italian bike maker since its inception. Now, to commemorate its 25th year of existence, Ducati India has showcased a one-off iteration of the Monster 797, custom built by Rajputana Customs. The iconic street naked receives few design highlights from the famous Jaipur-based custom shop.

The motorcycle features a specially built fuel tank with a design similar to that of the original and a custom colour scheme to give the Monster 797 a more distinct and masculine look, mentions Ducati.

To recapitulate, the original Ducati Monster effectively helped the company target (and eventually achieve) the sales figures it desired. The new-age models continue with the legacy, without forgetting the rather uncomplicated approach to motoring.

MD of Ducati India, Sergi Canovas said, “Monster is a bike that has become a cult and has been recognized worldwide with love since its inception for its muscular look with the true aesthetics of a naked bike. Rajputana Customs has done a fabulous job at embodying it with details that are meaningful, giving it a striking look. The Monster 797 in the Rajputana Custom Edizione Speciale looks every bit perfect and serves as the appropriate homage to this iconic motorcycle.”
