Bajaj Auto has launched the new Platina 110 ABS with a segment-first Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). Given the massive size of the commuter segment of motorcycles, the introduction of ABS in this category is also a significant step in enhancing road safety in India.

The new Platina 110, equipped with ABS reduces braking distance and provides better handling and stability. It also ensures complete control in panic-braking situations caused due to stray animals and potholes. The Platina 110 ABS comes with comfortable seats, and longer front and rear suspensions to ensure a comfortable ride. It further gets a new digital speedometer that has an ABS indicator, gear indicator and gear guidance features.

‘Internal studies show that at least 91 per cent of commuter motorcycle riders face one panic braking scenario a month. With the new Platina 110 ABS, we want to offer riders complete control in unforeseen braking scenarios. We are confident that these riders, who face difficult riding situations, would consider Platina 110 ABS to keep themselves and their loved ones safe with the best-in-segment braking technology,’ said Sarang Kanade, President of Bajaj Motorcycles.

The Platina 110 ABS is powered by a 115.45 cc engine, producing 8.4 bhp and 1 kgm of torque. Priced at Rs 72,224 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the motorcycle comes in Ebony Black, Cocktail Wine Red, and Saffire Blue colours.
