Honda’s updated retro-styled motorcycle, Monkey now comes with a new engine and some more updates. Wait, this is only for the European market. And we don’t see Honda getting this Monkey to India. Does this remind you of the Rajdoot GTS aka Bobby?

Now, the 2022 Honda Monkey comes with a new 124cc air-cooled Euro-5-compliant engine which produces 9.25 bhp and 1.12 kgm of torque paired to a new 5-speed ‘box. This is a new engine, but there’s no improvement in its performance figures. Having said that, it has a top speed of 91 kph. Adding a few more mechanical bits like a new suspension setup with USD forks at the front and a twin shock at the rear, a new intake and a reshaped airbox. On the safety front, it gets ABS and IMU control that will reduce the rear wheel from lifting under hard braking. small motorcycle rides on small 12-inch wheels wrapped in tyres having 120-mm width at the front and 130-mm at the rear, and has a kerb weight of 104 kg.

On the design bits, the Monkey 125 features an LED headlight and taillight, LCD instrument cluster, chrome wrapped exhaust cover and body-coloured front forks. It will be sold in three colour options: Pearl Glittering Blue, Pearl Nebula Red and Banana Yellow. Are y’all happy with the Activa or you’d love to see such motorcycles coming our way?
