Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition in India at Rs 1.52 lakh (ex-showroom). Inspired by the Hero MotoSports Rally bike, the ADV gets a factory-fitted rally kit for better off-roading capabilities. Pre-bookings for the motorcycle will begin on the 22nd of July at 12 PM. 

The new factory-fitted rally kit features a taller and fully-adjustable front suspension with 250 mm of travel. It also entails a fully-adjustable 10-step rear suspension with 220 mm of travel. The motorcycle features an aluminium skid plate, a toothed brake pedal and an upswept exhaust that enables deep water crossing. The Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition also remains lightweight with a kerb weight of 160 kg.

The motorcycle gets enhanced riding dynamics for better off-road performance with a seat height of 885 mm, 40-mm handlebar risers, a wheelbase of 1426 mm, and an increased trail of 116 mm. The ground clearance of the motorcycle is now 270 mm, 50 mm more than the standard version. It also gets an extended gear lever and 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels with dual-purpose tyres.

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition gets the same oil-cooled 199.6cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine as the regular Xpulse 200 4V. This mill produces 18.9 bhp and 1.76 kgm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It gets an LED headlamp with DRL and a fully digital LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and call alerts. It also gets turn-by-turn navigation, gear position indicator, Eco mode, two trip meters and single-channel ABS as a standard offering.
