Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Pleasure Plus XTec variant for Rs 69,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This variant now sits above the Pleasure Plus’s variant list. What it now offers is a project LED headlamp and Bluetooth connectivity. The Pleasure Plus scooter starts from Rs 61,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the LX trim, that’s Rs 7,600 more than its base trim.

Apart from the newly added features, it gets a few chrome accents along with a new ‘Jubilant Yellow’ colour to make it more ‘premium’ looking. You’ll also see that it now features a new backrest for the pillion seat. Everything else on the scooter remains unchanged, however.

As far as the tech bits are concerned, the XTec variant’s can be connected via Hero’s MyRide application that will show incoming calls and messages on the instrument cluster. Also, it is the only scooter in the segment with connectivity features.

On the mechanical front, it is still powered by the same 110cc motor producing 8 bhp and 0.88 kgm. With the introduction of this new variant, Hero MotoCorp has taken a shot at the Honda Activa 6G and the TVS Jupiter. Will you go for this variant of the Pleasure Plus or choose the segment leader Honda Activa 6G?
