Vida is Hero MotoCorp’s new brand, but is it inspired by a famous song by a British rock band? We don’t have a clue about that yet, but Hero MotoCorp says that Vida is a new identity for its upcoming mobility solutions, including electric vehicles.

At Hero MotoCorp’s Carbon Neutral event, the brand’s Chairman and CEO, Dr Pawan Munjal, unveiled a $100 million Global Sustainability Fund. It will strive to form global alliances led by BML Munjal University (BMU) and Hero MotoCorp, with the goal of nurturing more than 10,000 entrepreneurs working on ESG solutions that have a positive impact on the environment.

Furthermore, Dr Munjal explains what Vida’s brand new logo and the ‘sunrise’ visual identity mean, ‘Vida means life, and the brand’s sole purpose is to create a positive impact on the world and move us all forward in meaningful ways. When I see our future generations, especially my grandchildren, all I want to do is build a future of optimism, a future of positive energy, a future which is clean, where everyone has something to look forward to and participate in something bigger and better. With the creation of ‘Vida’ we will offer everyone the opportunity to thrive, grow and live better while continuing to move the way they want. I will lead this initiative from the front.’

The first electric vehicle will be unveiled on the 1st of July. Its production will be done at Hero MotoCorp’s ‘Green’ manufacturing facility in Chittoor, and the deliveries shall commence later in 2022. For now, we’re keenly waiting what unfolds for Hero MotoCorp’s Vida brand.
