This time, the 2022 Honda Africa Twin is available at a starting price of Rs 16.01 lakh for the Glare White Tricolor (manual transmission) bike. The automatic transmission variant with the Matt Ballistic Black Metallic paint scheme goes for Rs 17.5 lakh (both ex-showroom, Gurugram).

Apart from the increased starting price, the bike’s console has been readjusted — making it simpler to read. While the 6.5-inch touchscreen TFT display remains unchanged, Android Auto is now available in addition to Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth. It does, however, feature a modified windscreen that is 75-mm lower vertically and 97-mm lower horizontally. Without the need for tools, the screen can now be adjusted in five positions.

It’s still powered by the 1084cc parallel-twin engine that produces 98 bhp and 10.50 kgm of torque. Plus, there are electronic features and rider assists which include a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit, dual-channel ABS and traction control. Tour, Urban, Gravel and Off-road riding modes are available on both MT and DCT models, as well as two configurable settings — User 1 and 2.

Other features on the Africa Twin include dual-LED headlamps with cornering functions and a 24.5-litre fuel tank. Also, it will be brought into India using the CKD route. Bookings have begun across exclusive Honda Big Wing Topline dealerships in the country.
